To Margaret, with Lightness
To Margaret, with Lightness is a trio — Anaïs del Sordo (voice, synth, effects), Corrado Cerutti (guitar, effects) and Stefano Zambon (double bass).
The three musicians shape their own sound through original compositions, aiming for a chamber-music sensation. Playing closely to each other, in an almost acoustic way, is the key point of the project — while the electronics help imagine a wider musical space, and words can define it.
"There is nothing superfluous, not even in the use of effects — used only to give shape to a different sound space." Umberto Petrin · pianist, ECM artistto__margaret
